收到這張明信片時，細妹打了通電話給我，電話中她只顧笑，說收到一很有趣的明信片，我一定會無奈。事由當時我還一直想要毛茸茸的動物，可是寄來的卻是恐龍…親愛的Darrin，有毛茸茸的恐龍嗎?

加州Palm Springs寄來了很特別的明信片，Darrin還形容那裡夏天平均有42-44°C的氣溫為溫暖。香港夏天超過35°C，香港人都只躲在有冷氣的地方，熱得像一曝露在太陽就會溶化。可是42-44°C卻只是溫暖，還了句說這是很適合飢餓的恐龍們的氣溫。

Darrin並沒有多談及他自己的事，不過這張明信片中恐龍來得比他吸引。就在圖中的公路附近就是這張明信片的出處，售賣了很多和恐龍有關的禮物。

 

My sister called me when she received this postcard and she kept laughing on the phone. I was asking for furry animals and this postcard arrived with the reason that I like animals…?! Any fur on dinosaurs?

A humorous postcard from Palm Springs, California. This sender, Darrin, use the word “warm” to describe the weather in summer there, which is averagely 42-44°C. Damn hot in Hong Kong with >35°C already and he calls that level as warm?! He even said that this “warm” climate is perfect for the hungry dinosaurs. FUNNY!

Darrin did not say much about himself. But the dinosaurs are more interesting than him. It’s form a shop that sells many souvenirs of dinosaurs. And its location is near the highway shown on the postcard.
